ABOUT ME

As a Black Forest girl born in Freiburg im Breisgau, Helen Weintritt has long been enthusiastic about the performing arts: she gained her first experience in dance.(Role of Juliet in Romeo & Juliet by Prokofiev in a youth production at the Freiburg City Theater)

Her passion for classical singing developed in the process: studying in Switzerland and northern Germany (see below). I have been living in Hamburg since 2017 and work as a freelance soprano for JO Junge Oper Detmold, among others.

In addition to studying with Brigitte Balleys, Kai Wessel and Manuela Uhl, she took part in master classes by Elisabeth Glauser, Heidi Brunner, Nadine Denize, Luisa Castellani, Capucine Chiaudani, Lina Maria Akerlund, Ulrike Sonntag and Iva Barthélémy.

She finds inspiration and motivation to sing in nature, on the mountains, on the sea, while meditating or through other artists.
